Success
In the United States and perhaps in many other countries
around the world, it is unfortunate that the concept of success is measured
mainly upon monetary value. A person can use, cheat, deceive and take advantage
of others but if he or she is worth millions they are considered successful and
sometimes even admired. Not to say that many people have not gained their
wealth skillfully and honestly, but I see success in people who are happy, have
achieved emotional and mental balance, make an honest living, do what they can
for the good of all and have avoided the many pitfalls that increasingly dot the
pathway of living.
